The border between Thailand and Myanmar has long been a site of intense political and social upheaval. For generations, people on both sides of the border have struggled to build and maintain communities in the face of ongoing conflict and instability. Among those most affected are the many immigrant families who have fled Myanmar in search of safety and stability in Thailand. For many of these families, education is a critical tool for building a better future for themselves and their children. But now, one school that has been serving Myanmar immigrant children in Thailand is facing closure, and the community is reaching out for help.

Our two school’s total 500+ kids, both are community-run institutions that has been providing education to children from Myanmar for over decade. Located on the border in Maesot, Thailand and Myanmar, the schools are situated in an area that is home to a large number of immigrants who have fled violence and persecution in their home country. Despite the challenges they face, the school's teachers and staff have worked tirelessly to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for their students.

However, the school is now facing a crisis. Due to a combination of factors, including a lack of resources and support, the school is in danger of closing its doors. This would be a devastating blow to the many children and families who rely on the school for education, support, and community.
